SuM has a long-lasting experience in EU-, private companies-, and organizations-funded projects. It enables the laboratory to grow a strong capability in scientific research on the following topics: circular economy and natural capital, life cycle thinking, green marketing, and sustainable products, efficient resource management and industrial symbiosis, environmental management systems, climate change, and disaster management and corporate social responsibility.

In the TRICK project, SSSA gives its support to the following topics thanks to its knowledge both of Circular Economy assessment methods and consumer behaviours in relation to the purchase of green and circular products:

  1. Definition of the roadmap from linear to circular, with a special focus on Consumer behaviour. Thanks to its expertise in consumer behaviour, SSSA has given an important contribution to the purchase and usage of circular clothing in the textile-clothing (TC) sector with the investigation of the European consumers’ response to sustainability, traceability and circular approach by means of a questionnaire-based survey.
  2. Support the definition of KPIs for expected benefits assessment and the design and implementation of circular assessment service
  3. TC and Food Pilots’ implementation and circular assessment of both.
